Licensed Nail Technician

At Farida Studio, our philosophy is simple: we put our guests first, and we believe the real difference in care is love. We are looking for a Licensed Nail Technician for a full-time position (though part-time can be discussed) who understands that a manicure or pedicure is an act of care. We are a small, dedicated team, and we’re looking for someone who brings a high level of technical skill and a grounded, warm presence to our studio.

The Role

In this role, you will provide a high-end, relaxing experience for our guests, focusing on natural nail health and beauty. You will perform consistent, high-quality, regular manicures and pedicures, as well as various gel modalities. Please note that our studio focuses entirely on natural nail and gel care; we do not offer acrylics or dip powder services at this time. The schedule for this position requires availability from Thursdays through Mondays, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensing: You must hold a current New York State Nail Specialty License.
• Skills: Proficiency and confidence in classic manicures, pedicures, and modern gel techniques.
• Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating your work (pictures or videos via a website or social media platform) is required.
• Availability: Weekend availability is a must, including Sundays, to ensure we can accommodate our guests during our peak days.
• Values: A “guest-first” heart. We’re looking for someone who is attentive to a guest’s comfort and takes pride in the “love” we put into our work.
• Professionalism: Reliability, cleanliness, and a calm, cooperative mindset are essential to our studio’s environment.
