We are seeking a passionate and creative Hair Stylist/Colorist to join our team at Studio 787. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge in hair styling and coloring, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. As a Hair Stylist/Colorist at Studio 787, you will have the opportunity to showcase your talents, build a loyal client base, and contribute to our salon’s positive and energetic atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a wide range of hair services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering professional advice and recommendations
- Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and products in the hair industry
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business
- Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive and supportive salon environment
- Promote and sell salon products and services to clients
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Cosmetology license (Temp is fine until received)
- Strong knowledge of hair care products, techniques, and trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple clients simultaneously
- Creative flair and attention to detail
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Flexible availability (We are closed Sundays & Mondays)
