As a dual-role team member, you will assist in a variety of medical and cosmetic procedures and provide aesthetic services such as extractions, facials, chemical peels, and microneedling. You’ll help ensure a seamless patient experience while contributing to their skincare and overall wellness goals.

Job Overview

This is a full-time position combining medical assisting and aesthetician responsibilities. The position includes a base hourly rate of $20 per hour (based on experience), plus benefits. We offer opportunities for growth and advancement over time.

Key Responsibilities

Medical Assisting Duties:

• Take medical histories and document information in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Prepare patients for examination and explain treatment procedures.
• Set up and sanitize treatment rooms before and after patient visits.
• Assist the physician during medical and cosmetic dermatology procedures.
• Educate patients about medication and treatment protocols, both in person and over the phone.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical notes and charts.
• Maintain cleanliness, patient safety, and hygiene standards during all treatments and within treatment areas.

Aesthetician Duties:

• Acne extractions
• Customized facials
• Chemical peels
• Light therapy treatments
• Skincare consultations
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every patient.
• Stay updated on trends and innovations in skincare and aesthetic treatments.

Opportunity for Advanced Aesthetic Training

As you progress in this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills beyond basic aesthetic services. This position offers hands-on experience with advanced aesthetic treatments in a high-end dermatology setting. Upon completing training, you will be eligible to perform cutting-edge procedures, including:

• Microneedling
• Radiofrequency Microneedling
• Laser Services (IPL, Laser Hair Removal, and more)
• Advanced Chemical Peels
• CoolSculpting

Education and Experience

• NY State aesthetician license
• Previous experience in a medical or aesthetic setting preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of customer service and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Spanish language competency (nice to have, but not required).

Schedule

• Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
