At Aura Salon & Style Bar, we offer a full range of services including high-quality blowouts, braids, updo’s, and makeup to women, men, and children of all ages. We are located in Chappaqua, NY. We have a loyal client base and are dedicated to providing our clients with a warm and inviting experience. We are an Aveda Salon, and our organic approach is reflected in everything from our products to our services.
Qualifications:
-Cosmetology license
-Experience and knowledge of Aveda products, O&M coloring, Oway coloring and products, Cezanne, Lasio, Magic Sleek, Pura Luxe, and Brazillian Blowout treatments and products
-Two years of experience (Preferred)
-Need to be able to perform most of the following services:
Women’s Haircuts, Bang Trims, Men’s Haircuts, Kid’s Haircuts (boys and girls), Balayage, Glaze, Highlights, Lowlights, Single Processing(Root Touch up color services), Perm Wave, Formal updos, Flat Iron and Curling,Keratin Treatments(all keratin treatments listed above).
Looking for someone who is a go-getter, team player, reliable, punctual, dedicated to their work and to the salon, works well with others, always comes in with a positive attitude, and willing to help out when asked.
Responsibilities
– Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and preferences.
– Perform various hair styling services including blowouts and hair styling according to clients’ requests.
– Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
– Utilize cosmetology skills and techniques to deliver high-quality services to clients.
– Possess a valid cosmetology license to perform hair styling services in accordance with state regulations.
