Color Me Crazy Hair Studio is looking for a reliable, motivated, and confident Salon Assistant to join our team!
📅 Schedule: Fridays & Saturdays – Full Day
💰 Pay: Hourly
📍 Part-Time Position
We’re looking for someone who can support our stylists while also being confident and capable of taking their own clients when needed.
Responsibilities include:
• Assisting stylists with shampooing, blow-drying, color preparation, and other services
• Shampooing and preparing clients for their stylist
• Keeping stations, shampoo areas, and common areas clean and organized
• Washing and folding towels and maintaining salon supplies
• Helping with client flow and providing excellent customer service
• Assisting with salon opening/closing duties
• Taking clients independently when needed and within your skill level/licensing
Ideal Candidate:
• NYS licensed cosmetologist or cosmetology student/graduate eligible to perform required services
• Comfortable working in a busy salon environment
• Confident performing basic hair services independently
• Friendly, professional, dependable, and team-oriented
• Willing to learn and grow behind the chair
• Available for a full day every Friday and Saturday
